MyRepublic to launch in Australia
It will offer fibre broadband services with 100Mbps max speed.
MyRepublic is looking at launching unlimited and ultra-fast fibre broadband services in Australia on 15 November 2016.
This launch marks MyRepublic's fourth expansion into the Asia Pacific region, after Singapore, New Zealand and Indonesia since the company started in 2011.
MyRepublic will provide customers the maximum nbn speed available at their location -- up to 100Mbps.
In a statement, MyRepublic said that at present, Australia's average Internet speeds and affordability are still observed to lag behind global standards: the country was ranked 48th globally on Akamai's State of the Internet report in Q1.
"And despite the progress of Australia's nbn fibre infrastructure, 80% of customers on the nbn still experience speeds at levels comparable to ADSL technology," it added.
All of their plans will be unlimited and flexible.
