Japanese telecommunications firm SoftBank Group has inked a $328m (US$250m) investment deal with taxi booking app GrabTaxi, making it the largest investor in the company.
Launched in 2012, GrabTaxi currently serves 17 cities across 6 countries in Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and Indonesia.
GrabTaxi has received almost $446m (US$340m) in the last 14 months.
