StarHub launches home contents insurance plan

It covers up to $1,500 in fire accidents.

StarHub launched a 12-month home contents insurance plan called HomeInsured for users that sign up for any Home Broadband, TV or HomeHub service.

According to a press release, the plan provides coverage of up to $1,500 in the event of fire and is underwritten by Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited (Chubb in Singapore).

HomeInsured coverage will start once the StarHub service has been activated and Chubb has confirmed the customer's eligibility.
