Xpress Holdings to change its name to A-Smart Holdings  

This follows as it enters into smart tech sector.

Xpress Holdings will change its name to A-Smart Holdings following shareholders’ approval.

The company will enter into the smart technologies business following acquisition of 70% stake in Amplify Me, a developer of e-commerce applications, web-portals and online platforms.

The company is also one of the approved vendors of Spring Singapore for point of sales Mobile Menu Ordering and Payment Systems for the F&B sector.

“The investment business will allow us to enjoy recurring dividend income and capital gains from investments in quoted and/or unquoted securities of investee entities,” said Ma Wei Dong, group chairman.

He added that the business expansion will enable the group to enhance its profitability, boost shareholder value and returns and improve overall growth prospects.
