Singapore Police is warning the public about a rising number of online scams where victims are either not receiving the goods they bought or are cheated into making additional payments.
Yahoo! Singapore reports that the number of online shopping scams in Singapore is up by 13.4% to 1,145 cases between January and June. 70% of the cases, it said, took place in online community market places such as Carousell, Gumtree and Facebook.
