
M1 expands coverage of data roaming service
Enabling local data bundle usage in 15 new countries.
Globe-trotting Singaporeans can now use the telco’s local data bundles in selected European countries and three new regional destinations, as M1 launches its Europe Data Passport.
According to a statement by M1, subscribers can use the Data Passport at a single subscription of $50 per month, and have access to their data promos in countries such as Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Additionally, M1’s Data Passport promo has also been expanded to Australia, the Philippines, and Thailand at $10 per country, per month.
“The service delivers convenience and value to both business and leisure travellers, and gives M1 customers the peace of mind to use their smart devices the way they do at home. It is the perfect travel companion,” said P. Subramaniam, chief marketing officer of M1.
