MyRepublic offers networking system for retail businesses

It gives the business firewall services, a wireless network, and tools for traffic and use analytics.

MyRepublic, in partnership with Cisco Meraki, has launched MyRepublic Connected Business, a streamlined networking solution for retail, food and beverage, and hospitality businesses.

"Instead of relying on multiple vendors and costly IT professionals to set up a network at an outlet or branch, MyRepublic performs the role of both consultant and solutions provider," the company said in a press release.

Once a business’s requirements are mapped out, MyRepublic acts as the single contact point to manage the deployment of the network.

It is able to perform solutions like firewall services, a high-performance wireless network, and traffic and use analytics.

Subscribers to MyRepublic Connected Business will benefit from its architecture, which centrally and securely connects and manages all the devices a business needs, including wireless access points, security cameras, VoIP phones, and network switches, amongst others.

Previously, the company announced that it has formed a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) partnership with StarHub, which will enable it to utilise the telco’s mobile network infrastructure to offer its own mobile services in Singapore.
