Singapore’s IDA to unveil Wireless@SG SIM-login for selected US visitors

It will be available until 21 September.

Selected visitors from the United States can now enjoy the unparalleled connectivity of Wireless@SG via the SIM-login feature, a first for foreign visitors.

According to a press release by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), this is part of a trial conducted in partnership with Land Transport Authority (LTA), M1 Limited (M1), Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC), and Singtel.

The press release noted that T-Mobile US subscribers can simply perform a one-time setup on their SIM devices, and connect automatically to Wireless@SG around 290 hotspots at the designated test areas – Sentosa and major MRT stations.

Meanwhile, all other US visitors can sign up for a free account and connect to all Wireless@SG hotspots, the press release added.
