Singtel bets big on AI with NVIDIA-powered GPU-as-a-Service rollout
The company will launch the GPUaaS in 3Q24.
Singtel will roll out GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) in Singapore and Southeast Asia in 3Q24, offering enterprises access to NVIDIA's AI computing capabilities.
The GPUaaS will utilise NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPU-powered clusters hosted in upgraded data centres in Singapore.
Singtel will also pioneer the deployment of NVIDIA’s next-gen GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchips, which deliver 30X faster real-time large language model inference than its predecessor.
Singtel plans to extend its GPUaaS to three AI data centres operated by its regional data centre business, Nxera, in Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia once they are operational.
Singtel will deploy over 100MW of next-gen sustainable AI-ready data centres through Nxera in the next three years.
