Singtel joins Asian telcos for a first-of-its-kind cross-border rewards programme
The telco alliance will roll out the programme in 2H24.
Singtel has allied with HKT, AIS, Globe, Optus, Taiwan Mobile, and Telkomsel to launch a first-of-its-kind cross-border rewards programme.
The programme set for roll out in 2H24 will allow eligible travellers to enjoy special offers and redeem vouchers for transport, dining, merchandise, services and other incentives from the partner telcos' apps conveniently when they visit Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, Australia, Singapore, Taiwan or Indonesia.
The programme will also allow travellers to access customer support from their telco via calls or online whilst overseas for free.
"With this unique reciprocal rewards programme, our customers can access exciting local rewards and offers when they visit any of the markets within the Alliance. For inbound tourists, we're making it easier for them to get the most value while exploring Singapore, thereby strengthening Singapore's position as an iconic destination,” Anna Yip, CEO for Business Development at Singtel, said.
“We're starting with our regional partners but plan to expand this programme to cover key travel corridors and popular destinations globally so our customers will have an even wider array of opportunities and new experiences to enjoy when they're abroad,” Yip said.
