Singtel is SG’s fastest mobile provider: report
Singtel’s median download speed was at 112.28Mbps.
Singtel emerged as the fastest mobile provider in Singapore in the third quarter after it delivered a median download speed of 112.28 megabits per second (Mbps), Ookla reported.
It is followed by StarHub, M1, and TPG Simba which delivered median download speeds of 78.76Mbps, 45.01Mbps, and 21.27Mbps, respectively.
Singtel also registered the fastest upload speed at 20.64 Mbps, ahead of StarHub (15.87Mbps), M1 (14.04Mbps), and TPG Simba (3.59Mbps).

In terms of multi-server latency, StarHub saw the lowest median latency at 27 milliseconds (ms), followed by M1 (29ms), Singtel (31ms), and TPG Simba (33ms).
The report also found that Singapore ranked 18 in mobile speed in September 2022. Its download speed and upload speed were at 75.99Mbps and 16.17Mbps, respectively. Its latency was at 17ms.
Meanwhile, Singapore ranked second amongst the countries with the fastest fixed broadband, slipping one place. Its download and upload speeds stood at 215.83 Mbps, and 181.58Mbps with a latency of 4ms.
