
StarHub inks data connectivity deal with Chinese telcos
Singapore firms in Chongqing can soon work with their preferred ISP provider in China.
StarHub signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three leading internet service providers (ISPs) in China – China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom – to enhance data connectivity between Singapore and Chongqing as well as explore other business opportunities, an announcement revealed.
StarHub will work with the three internet service providers (ISPs) in China to strengthen digital connectivity between Singapore and Chongqing and cater to increasing China-Singapore trade.
Singapore companies with operations in Chongqing will be able to work with their preferred ISP provider in China for enhanced info-communications services with competitive offerings.
StarHub has invested in five submarine cable systems to support its corporate customers’ international connectivity needs. The telco provides point-to-point connections to 200 cities globally.
