According to Phillip Securities, BPL cross-carriage allows SingTel exposure to competitor’s customers. This provides SingTel opportunity to market its other product offerings to a wider audience. 

On SG Pay TV competition, SingTel highlights that it has gained considerable market share, while Pay TV ARPU has also increased significantly over the last few quarters.

With its increasing suite of programs and innovative offerings (e.g. mobile TV BPL), SingTel remains positive on the outlook for its Pay TV segment. 

SingTel to retain Optus Satellite business due to high growth potential. Having grown well over the last decade, SingTel continues to see ample opportunity to grow the Satellite business.

This includes exploring opportunities with corporations, meeting demand for and providing HD TV, and potential to increase its international footprint.
