Ericsson names new president & country manager for SG and Brunei ops
Nicholas Seow is the first Singaporean to be appointed as head of two of the company’s largest markets in the APAC.
In a statement, Ericsson said Seow, who joined the company in 2005, formerly handled its SingTel account in Singapore as vice-president.
Ericsson said during his tenure as VP, Seow was able to maximize his 15 years of experience in sales management by growing its business partnership with one of Singapore’s leading telecommunications operators.
“Under Mr. Seow’s leadership, we are confident that we will be able to further strengthen Ericsson’s position in Singapore and Brunei,” said Arun Bansal, Ericsson Head for the Southeast Asia and Oceania region.
“The Singapore and Brunei markets present exciting possibilities for us to support customers with innovative new services and solutions, especially in mobile broadband, LTE, and industry verticals. Mr. Seow’s expertise in business sales and solutions will enable us to capitalise on these opportunities, and will enable us to help our customers achieve leadership in their growth areas," he said.
Seow holds a Master in Business Administration in Infocomm Management from the University of Adelaide.
