Starhub CEO Peter Kaliaropoulos retires

The board is now searching for a new CEO.

StarHub’s CEO Peter Kaliaropoulos is slated to retire and step down from his position as CEO from 31 October, a press release revealed.

The board will immediately commence a global executive search for a new CEO. They will establish an interim Board Executive Committee (Board ExCo) to provide close support to the management leadership team during the CEO search and oversee the smooth transition for the new CEO. Kaliaropoulos will serve as a co-opted member on StarHub’s Board ExCo until a new CEO is hired.

Kaliaropoulos, 61, first joined StarHub in 1999 as senior vice president of commercial operations. He then left to helm several C-level roles in New Zealand, Australia and the Middle East. He rejoined the telco in July 2018 as CEO.
