Weng Kwai resigned as Nera Telecommunications' financial controller

Mr. Weng, 49, was responsible for maintaining an efficient accounting and financial reporting system to ensure a high standard of reporting and control as well as compliance with the accounting and financial policies and procedures. His other responsibilities included financial planning, analysis, forecasting, taxation, treasury functions including foreign exchange risk management and related financial matters of the group.
He was previously group financial controller for Eng Kong Holdings from 2000 to 2005. He was group finance manager for New Toyo International Holdings from 1997 to 2000. He was in the audit department of Price Waterhouse Singapore from 1990 to 1997.
