
COE premium for big cars dropped big-time to S$58,090
COE for other categories plunged as well.
In a release, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced they received 4,287 bids at the end of the March first open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs). Of these, 1,636 were successful.
COE premium for big cars (Category B - 1,601cc and above) dropped 37.3% to S$58,090 versus last bidding's $92,667.
Premium for small cars (Category A - 1,600cc and below) also went down 4.6% to $74,689 from $78,301.
COE for cars in the Open category declined by 29.3% to S$S$65,001.

The Prevailing Quota Premiums (PQP) for existing vehicles fall under Categories A to D will be available after the March second open bidding exercise.
Bidders can use the Temporary Certificates of Entitlement (TCOEs) obtained from this tender exercise upon receipt of the TCOE notification letters. The non-transferable TCOEs will be valid till 14 September 2013. The transferable TCOEs will be valid till 14 June 2013. TCOEs issued to companies are not transferable.
