ComfortDelGro’s Australian subsidiary has secured a $23m (A$25m) green loan to finance its hybrid bus fleet with a total of 50 buses in Victoria, according to a press release .
All low-floor 50 buses are said to carry a parallel hybrid driveline, which uses 30% less fuel.
OCBC Bank will advise ComfortDelGro on its Green Finance Framework in Australia.
Delivery of the buses has already started with the last batch expected in mid-2022.
