Konica Minolta to double its revenue by 2016
Thanks to its regional headquarters recently opened in Singapore.
According to a release, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia Pte Ltd. celebrated the opening of its regional headquarter at Mapletree Business City, barely 3 months after its announcement as a regional headquarter in Singapore. The new premises was declared open by Mr Jun Haraguchi, Executive Director of Konica Minolta Business Technologies, Inc., Japan.
“Today epitomises Konica Minoltaʼs goals to strengthen our foothold in Southeast Asia,” said Mr Ryo Maruhashi, Managing Director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Asia Pte Ltd. “The Business Development and Regional Operations teams are geared to help accelerate market penetration, and support our expansion in the Southeast Asia market.”
With the set up of the regional headquarter, Konica Minolta BSA is poised for strong growth, projected to double its revenue by 2016 across the Southeast Asia region for the office and production printing solutions.
Mr. Terence Gan, Deputy Director, Electronics, Singapore Economic Development Board, added: “Konica Minolta and Singapore have a longstanding relationship and we warmly welcome the opening of its regional headquarters here. This decision will add vibrancy to Singaporeʼs printing and imaging industry and it strengthens Singaporeʼs role as a business hub for companies looking to grow in emerging Asia.”
“The Regional team will manage, supervise and support the sales subsidiaries and distributors in Southeast Asia,” said Mr Jun Haraguchi, “Customers can expect faster turn-around response and value-added services, thus enriching their Konica Minolta experience and increasing our presence in the local markets.”
Konica Minolta BSA is located at 30 Pasir Panjang Road #06-32, and the opening ceremony was attended by EDB representatives, business partners, staff and media.
