LTA rolls out more city direct services to the CBD

They will operate on weekdays and evening peak periods.

Commuters are in for a treat as the land transport authority (LTA) unveils more direct journeys to the central business district (CBD) with the implementation of five new City Direct Services (CDSs).

According to a media release by the LTA, the five new CDSs will be implemented from February and March 2016, bringing the total number to 20.

“These services will operate on weekday morning and evening peak periods, excluding public holidays,” the release said.

The services will include the towns of Punggol, Clementi/Dover, Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, and Yishun, with two trips in the morning and evening each, except for Ang Mo Kio and Yishun, which will get 3 trips in the morning.
