Higher bus and rail revenues drove the surge.
On Tuesday, bus and rail operator SBS Transit revealed that its net profit jumped 57.2% jump in Q2, posting a profit S$4.9 million.
Revenue also climbed by 12.3% in Q2, registering total earnings of to S$235.1m amid stronger bus and rail profits.
Revenue from bus operations were 10.3% higher in the quarter, while revenue from rail operations climbed 20.9% to S$48.9 million
