Temasek-backed Reefknot Investments launches think tank for supply chain industry
It will discuss new business models and tech in the supply chain and logistics industry.
Reefknot Investments, the joint venture of Temasek and Kuehne + Nagel, has launched its think tank initiative called Centre of Excellence for Global Emerging Supply Chain Technologies (GESCT) with the goal of driving new business models and transformation in the supply chain and logistics industry, according to a press release.
Its founding members include SGInnovate founding CEO Steve Leonard, Kuehne + Nagel head of corporate development Simon Fich and Reefknot Investments managing rector Marc Dragon. Former World Economic Forum head of supply chain and transport industries Wolfgang Lehmacher and Starbucks global supply chain director Kong Wai Wei also signed as members.
The members, together with curated ecosystem partners, is set to discuss and share the implications of new business models and technologies in the supply chain and logistics industry.
Its primary activities will include regular forums, Expert Panels and Thought Leadership Papers,
co-development and curation of supply chain business models and technology trends, and
active involvement with startups, corporates and academia.
GESCT also signed a memorandum of understanding with Reefknot Investments to drive activities related to creating value and impact for the think tank.
