Tiger Airways' net profit rose 60 percent due to stronger passenger volumes and higher average passenger fares.



Tiger Airways had a net profit of US$17.66 million for October-December, up from US$10.97 million a year ago.

Its revenue increased 22 percent to US$132.6 million, up from US$108.59 million the same period last year.

Tiger Airways is part-owned by Singapore Airlines .
