Xchanging Procurement seals long-term partnership with Australian company Brambles
They will enter into a co-sourcing agreement to strengthen procurement capabilities.
Xchanging plc, the business process, procurement and technology services provider, has announced that Xchanging Procurement, the third largest procurement services provider globally, has signed a new three and a half-year contract with Brambles, according to a media release by Xchanging.
Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Brambles is a supply-chain logistics company, operating in more than 50 countries, primarily through the CHEP and IFCO brands. The group specialises in the pooling of unit-load equipment and the provision of associated services, focusing on the outsourced management of returnable pallets, crates and containers.
Xchanging adds that the co-sourcing team will help to integrate and standardise procurement processes for Brambles’ business across six key regions: Europe, North America, Middle East & Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and Latin America, for its indirect categories of spend.
Xchanging will help to identify and deliver global and regional sourcing initiatives to reduce overall non-core procurement costs across Brambles’ global business units.
