11 stations along Thomson-East Coast Line Phase 3 to be operational by yearend
The stations have been handed over to SMRT by the LTA.
The 11 stations along the Thomson-East Coast Line Phase 3 (TEL3) are set to be operational by yearned, according to the Land Transport Authority (LTA).
In a Facebook post, the LTA said it had already handed over the station to SMRT Corporation, completing all its civil and structural works, and systems integration and testing activities for TEL3.
"With the handover, SMRT will carry out operational testing over the next few months to prepare 11 of the stations for welcoming commuters for passenger service by the end of this year," the LTA said.
When the TEL3 opens, the LTA said 180,000 households will be within a 10-minute walk from a train station.
