COE premiums for Category B cars drop by 3.9% to $57,501

3,558 bids were successful.

Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums ended up mostly mixed in the first bidding exercise for November, with Category D or motorcycle premiums dropping by 6% to $5,912.

According to a press release by the LTA, premiums also slipped 2% to $56,001 for vehicles in Category A, which are cars up to 1600cc & 97kW.

The statement also showed premiums of Category B cars, or cars above 1600cc or 97kW also dropped to $57,501.

Meanwhile, prices for Category C, or goods vehicles and buses, went up by 3.5% to $43,809, while Category E, or the open category, saw an increase to $60,689.
