COE premiums drop in almost all categories
Category A premiums slipped by 3.7%.
Certificate of Entitlement premiums sank in the majority of categories in the first bidding exercise for December.
According to a statement by the Land Transportation Authority, premiums for Category B cars above 1,600cc and 130hp, plunged to $60,001, a 1.8% drop from the previous bidding exercise. Premiums for category A also slipped to $56,989.
Premiums for Category E cars also dropped by 3.5% to $60,003.
Meanwhile, only premiums for Category C, goods vehicles, registered growth, rising to $48,101.
On the other hand, motorcycle premiums were flat at $6,501.
