COE premiums drop in latest bidding exercise

Only Category E prices inched up.

Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) for private vehicles closed mostly lower in September’s second bidding exercise.
COEs for Category A cars, or vehicles smaller than 1,600cc and 130hp, fell by $1,690 to $55,399.

Premiums for Category B cars, or those larger than 1,600cc and 130hp, dropped to $60,001 from $62,101.

Premiums for goods vehicles and motorcycles slipped by $1,512 and $354, respectively.

Only premiums in the open category increased, climbing by a marginal $290 to $61,300.
