COE premiums inched up in latest bidding round

Prices rose for most categories.

Certificate of Entitlement prices finally ended consecutive weeks of price contractions yesterday. COE premiums inched up for small and big cars, while premiums declined for motorcycles and service vehicles.

Category A premiums rose from $56,209 two weeks ago to close at $57,498 in the latest round. Meanwhile, COE premiums for larger cars in Category B increased from $60,789 to $62,140.

Prices also rose in the open category, which is most often used for large vehicles. Category E COE premiums spiked from $57,885 to $61,001 yesterday.

Premiums for motorcycles declined from $6,201 to $6,112. COE for goods vehicles and buses also declined from S$49,302 to S$46,501.
