COE prices crash across the board: LTA

Prices are a far cry from just two weeks ago.

Here’s some good news for Singaporeans looking to get new cars: Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices slipped in the LTA’s second open bidding exercise for the month, which was held yesterday, June 18.

Premiums for Category A cars slipped to $61,899, representing a $1,291 drop compared to prices in June’s first open bidding exercise.

Meanwhile, COE prices for bigger vehicles dropped to $65, 700, representing a $1,604 slip from $67, 304.

Premiums for commercial vehicles dropped by $1,000 to $42,001. COE prices for motorcycles also ended lower at $3,890, a drop of $199.

The COE premium for vehicles in the open category fell to $65,301 from $67,334 previously.
