Five women industry leaders join GrabAds
The executives will help connect advertisers in Southeast Asia.
Five women veterans in technology, marketing and advertising were appointed to top positions at GrabAds to boost the firm’s advertising growth in Southeast Asia, Grab said.
Joining GrabAds are Jennie Johnson as marketing head, Kaia Lai as product for search and personalisation technology head, Christina Lin as product marketing lead for ads and personalisation technology, Kareen Mendoza as regional financial services partnership lead, and Wong Yi Ling as head of sales operations.

Prior to her appointment, Johnson held lead positions in Trade Desk, Appier, and Google. Lai, meanwhile, led platform strategy and consumer app redesign in Grab.
Lin was with Facebook for ten years in the US, Singapore, and Japan, where she introduced business and product growth strategies.
Mendoza led financial services brand partnerships at social media app, TikTok, and sales of data services at Comscore, an audience measurement firm.
Wong previously worked with Criterio as sales transformation and sales operations head in Asia-Pacific.
In a statement, Ken Mandel, regional managing director and head of GrabAds and Brand Insights, said the new appointed leaders will help merchants and advertisers build their brand whilst driving real world sales impact using Grab.
