Grab axes GrabPay card after adoption review
The discontinuation bears no impact on a user’s GrabPay wallet balance.
GrabPay card will no longer be available for online and offline transactions starting 1 June, Grab announced.
The company made the move after an evaluation of its existing financial services, where they observed a much higher adoption of other offerings, such as PayLater and GrabPay wallet.

In line with the announcement, the company will no longer accept new applications for the card starting 1 April.
Users may request a replacement for their physical GrabPay card until 30 April.
Those who have not activated their physical card may do so until 31 May; however, the card will be unavailable for transactions after this date.
Users can still earn GrabReward points with the card on all eligible online and in-store transactions both locally and overseas until 31 May.
