Grab Singapore has appointed incumbent Member of Parliament Pei Ling Tin as its Director of Public Affairs & Policy.
In a LinkedIn post, Tin announced that her roles will be “distinct” amidst questions of conflict of interest.

Moreover, the PAP has a published set of Rules of Prudence, and mechanisms in place for declarations of interest and the avoidance of conflicting interests.
“I am absolutely clear that when I am discharging my duties in my capacity as a Member of Parliament, my constituents and Singapore come first,” she said.
“When I am working on behalf of Grab, I will have to ensure that Grab’s interests are safeguarded.”
She also assured that she will remain transparent.
