MPA seeks proposal for electric harbour craft charging points pilot trial
The chosen proposal will be implemented for two years and can be extended for a year.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) is calling for a proposal to develop, commission, maintain and operate electric harbour craft (e-HC) charging points at selected locations.
In a statement, MPA said these selected locations include Jurong Port, Marina South Pier, Pasir Panjang Ferry Terminal, PSA Marine - West Coast Base, and Sebarok Terminal.
The selected proposals will be rolled out as a two-year pilot that could be extended for another year.

The experience from the pilot will contribute to the development of a charging infrastructure standard for e-HC, the charging infrastructure master plant, and the implementation and operational plans to support the operations of e-HC in the Lion City.
MPA will work with operators to evaluate various charging technologies implemented. The authority aims to roll out the e-HC charging infrastructure in Singapore from 2025.
