            Singapore ranks amongst cities with cheapest public transport fares
A monthly pass costs just around 1.9% of the average net wage in the country.
Singapore has amongst the cheapest public transport fares in the world, a report found.
Picodi analysts noted that a monthly pass in the city costs S$128, which accounts for only 1.9% of the average net wage in Singapore.
This result is similar to ratios in New York (2.1%) and Reykjavik (1.8%).

In contrary, the most expensive single tickets can be found in London ($5.19), Zurich ($4.75) and Oslo ($3.91); whilst the highest prices for monthly passes are paid by citizens of London ($271), Melbourne ($190) and Dublin ($166).
