SingPost names ex-SMRT managing director as new Singapore CEO
Newly-appointed CEO Shahrin Abdol Salam has more than 25 years of experience in various fields.
Singapore Post Ltd (SingPost) has appointed Shahrin Abdol Salam as the new CEO of its Singapore business effective 1 May.
In a statement, the company said Shahrin will replace Neo Su Yin who is set “to pursue other career opportunities.”

SingPost said Shahrin has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of operations management, strategic planning, asset management, business development, engineering, and customer service. Before his new role, he was SMRT Thomson East Coast Line managing director and SMRT Corporation senior vice president for strategic relations. Amongst his previous posts was expert and advisor (Rail Agency) for Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority.
“I look forward to his leadership in our continued transformation,” SingPost Group CEO Vincent Phang said about Shahrin’s appointment.
