
Small car COE premium surges to $52,668
It is up from $50,991 premium in October.
Certificate of Entitlement premiums for small cars have risen again at the end of the November first open bidding exercise. Premiums for Category A (cars up 1600cc & 97kW) spiked $52,668, after falling in September.
This is compared to the premium of $50,991 during the last bidding exercise held in October.
Meanwhile, premiums for category B cars went down slightly to $56,206. For Category D (motorcycles), premiums were around the same at $6,311.
For Category C (goods vehicles and buses), premiums were at $48,001 while the open category premiums were at $56,000.
The Land Transportation Authority received 6,193 bids for the bidding period, 4,239 of which were successful.
