ST Engineering's Urban Solutions business has won a contract to supply its advanced AGIL® Passenger Information System (PIS) for 65 new six-car passenger trains under the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) in Australia.
The contract has commenced and will end in Q1 2030.
ST Engineering said the contract is its "largest international Passenger Information System win to date."
The PIS incorporates a Hearing Loop, an Automated Real-time Passenger Counting System (ARPC), and an Onboard Mobile Gateway.
