Trans-cab floors the gas pedal on maiden partnership with Grab

7000 cab drivers will be using the app exclusively.

Singapore’s commuters will be experiencing notably faster booking times for on-demand cab trips as Grab teams up with Trans-cab in its first ever partnerships with a taxi operator.

According to a press release by Trans-cab, both companies will begin onboarding Trans-cab drivers who are new to Grab, adding to Grab’s largest land fleet of drivers in Singapore.

“Trans-cab drivers will have immediate access to Grab’s passenger base and technology that enables the efficient matching of passengers and drivers,” the report noted.

Meanwhile, Teo Kiang Ang, managing director of Trans-cab, said the partnership will support its drivers to earn higher incomes and will bring more ride bookings to the drivers.

“We are confident that this partnership, along with our low rental rates, is a win-win situation and will attract more drivers to join our fleet,” he said.
