Manhattan Resources promotes Tan Soon Yun as financial controller

She was the finance manager, Corporate of the Company prior to the appointment.

The Board of Manhattan Resources announced the appointment of Tan Soon Yun as financial controller effective 1 July 2013.

Ms Tan, 33, will assist chief financial offcier in Group’s financial matters and oversees the Group’s finance teams.

Ms Tan obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from National University of Singapore and is a certified public accountant with Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and member of ACCA, according to a Manhattan Resources report.

From January 2002 to August 2004, Ms Tan was an administrative and account executive in Prow Marine. In September 2004, Ms Tan joined an international firm of certified public accountants. She left the firm as an assurance manager in April 2012. Ms Tan joined the Company as finance manager on 2 May 2012 and handles group accounting matters and is responsible for the accounting and taxation function of the Group entities in Singapore.
