SMRT appoints Ng Bor Kiat as senior vice president, Systems & Engineering Division

He has more than 13 years of experience with The Defence Science and Technology Agency.

The Board of SMRT announced the appointment of Ng Bor Kiat as senior vice president, Systems & Engineering Division.

Mr Ng, 56, Bor Kiat has strong background in mechanical engineering and capabilities in people and team management. Before joining SMRT, he was the director, Corporate Development for MEWR supporting the permanent secretary in corporate planning and organisation development.

He was interviewed by CEO and the VP HR before being appointed and he has been agreed by the Board to be well qualified for the position.

He will oversee the technical domain pillars including Stations, Rolling Stock, Permanent Way, Signalling and Power & Facilities.
