SMRT kicks off series of committee member appointments

The Audit, Remuneration, and Board Risk Committees have revised compositions.

In a release, Mr Yap Kim Wah has been appointed as a member of the Audit Committee with effect from 15 October 2012. Mr Yap Kim Wah is considered independent for the purposes of Rule 704(8) of the Listing Manual of the SGX-ST.

Mr Yeo Wee Kiong ceased to be a member of the Audit Committee following his resignation as Director on 10 October 2012.

Mdm Moliah Hashim has been appointed as a member of the Remuneration Committee with effect from 15 October 2012.

Mr Yap Kim Wah has been appointed as a member of the Board Risk Committee with effect from 15 October 2012.
