SMRT promotes Lee Ling Wee as executive vice president, trains

He will replace Khoo Hean Siang, who relinquished the role on 16 June 2013.

SMRT announced the appointment of Lee Ling Wee as executive vice president for trains.

Mr Lee, 47, will be responsible in leading and managing all matters of Train Operations, Engineering and Maintenance for the North-South and East-West lines, Circle Line, and Bukit Panjang LRT, according to an SMRT report.

In the past, he was senior vice president (Maintenance & Engineering), SMRT Trains from May 2013 to June 2013, head of Air Engineering & Logistics Department, HQ RSAF from July 2007 to May 2013 and deputy head of Air Logistics (Engineering), Air Logistics Department, HQ RSAF from April 2007 to June 2007.
