SMRT promotes Manfred Seah Kok Khong to group CFO
He is the group's head of strategic finance and business structuring office.
SMRT announced the appointment of Manfred Seah Kok Khong as group chief financial officer effective 29 December 2014.
Mr Seah, 53, will provide overall leadership to the finance function of SMRT Group and plays a key role in developing, monitoring and evaluating overall corporate strategy with the CEO and leaders of business units with emphasis on bottom line performance, working capital and enhancing shareholder value. This position will provide useful financial insights to help make better decisions about formulating and executing strategy. His major responsibilities include corporate governance, accounting, treasury, investments and financial reporting, according to an SMRT report.
He is currently SMRT's head, strategic finance and business structuring office since October 2013. Before this, he was managing director, strategic business development at Taraca Asia International from October 2014 to November 2014 and senior vice president and group COO of WhiteRock Medical Company from 2008 to October 2013.
