Sen Yue Holdings temporarily shuts down Malaysian subsidiaries due to COVID-19
A number of employees tested positive for COVID-19.
Two Malaysian subsidiaries of Sen Yue Holdings have been temporarily shut down following the detection of multiple COVID-19 cases.
In a bourse disclosure, Sen Yue reported that two of its subsidiaries in Johor Bahru in Malaysia, CED System and PNE Micron Engineering, will be shut down for 13 and 11 days, respectively to end by March 30.
Around 67% of CED employees and 42% of PNE employees tested positive for COVID-19.
"At this juncture,the group is unable to quantify the extent of the financial impact of the temporaryshutdown of both premises on the earnings per share and net asset value per share of the group for the financial year ending 30 September 2021," Sen Yue said.
It added that its subsidiaries have, to the best of its knowledge, complied with all regulations and procedures set to prevent the pandemic's spread.
