Wastewater treatment startup Hydroleap snaps up $2.6m in funding
The company brings its electricity-powered treatment to new verticals.
Singapore-based wastewater treatment startup, Hydroleap, has secured $2.6m in its latest round of funding led by venture capital firm Wavemaker Partners. Investors in the round included Seeds Capital and 500 Durians.
The company has already passed early stage validation via prior funding where its electricity-powered wastewater technology was trialled on various industries, including construction, tannery, food and beverage, palm oil, and highly-contaminated wastewater.
With the fresh funds, Hydroleap aims to take its product to new verticals, such as in industrial parks, mining, palm oil and semiconductor industries.
