Hyflux postpones town hall meeting with shareholders

The firm says they need a bigger venue due to a large number of shareholders wanting to attend.

Hyflux has announced that they have rescheduled the town hall meeting for holders of notes, perpetual securities and preference shares, which was supposed to happen on 13 March 2019.

The firm said that the large number of shareholders who wish to attend the said meeting urged Hyflux to move to a larger venue.

“The Company will announce the date, time and venue of the rescheduled town hall meeting as soon as possible,” the firm said in an SGX filing.

The ​embattled​ firm made the headlines as a series of large debts were revealed.

​ESR REIT recenlty filed their proof of claims as Hyflux failed to pay their rental debts.
