Singapore Airlines Group sees 7.9% rise in September passenger volume 

It carried 3.1 million passengers.

Singapore Airlines Group (SIA Group) saw a 7.9% YoY uptick in its passenger volume in September, carrying 3.1 million passengers last month. 

Apart from passenger volume, the group’s passenger traffic and capacity also increased in September, rising 7.7% YoY and 9.7% YoY.

The airline group's passenger load factor (PLF), however, dipped by 1.6 percentage points YoY to 86.1%.

The group’s cargo business also reported positive volume growth in September, with total cargo and mail carried rising by 12.0% YoY to 512.9 million kilograms (kg).

Cargo load factor also improved, rising by 0.9 percentage points YoY to 58%.
