The Executive Centre introduces first dedicated coworking centre
TRIBE by TEC boasts of tribal elements in the office to give off warm and energetic vibes.
The Executive Centre, a premium serviced office provider, recently introduced TRIBE by TEC, the company’s first dedicated coworking centre, at 51B/52B Circular Road in Singapore.
"TRIBE stands for a group of people who shares the same customs, beliefs and interests, and TRIBE by TEC is designed especially to unite promising professional forces and provide them with the workspace and facilities they need to grow their business," said Yvonne Lim, regional director, Australia, Jakarta & Singapore of The Executive Centre.
Eschewing the austerity and formality of conventional corporate environment, the interior design of TRIBE emphasises on warmth and vibrancy. The decors take direct hints from the brand’s literal title with numerous tribal elements such as masks, dream catchers and patchworks. The generous use of colours helps to foster inspiration that complements the openness of the space which is also full of natural light. "With the open and communal setting and a range of amenities and regular networking events, it is ideal for entrepreneurs, dynamic start-ups, small businesses, innovators and independent professionals," Lim said.
She added that those who "belong to the TRIBE" can mingle over a cup of fresh ground coffee at our cosy breakout or at the terrace, and their community experience managers go to great lengths to cultivate a unique experience and positive coworking environment.
Moving away from the usual premium Serviced office concept providing dedicated and exclusive office settings for business, TRIBE by TEC’s approach is to form a business eco-system bringing individuals and businesses together through cooperation and competition. "Designing TRIBE by TEC, we put attention into creating bright and fun reception, and right beside it we have an Electronic Scooter charging station with parking lot for clients who ride to work," Lim added.
As for the difficulties, TRIBE by TEC is set in a historic conservation shophouse dating back to the late 1800’s. Lim said that throughout the built-up process, they encountered a number of restrictions as to the construction of the design. They were not allowed to do hacking or drilling that may damage the integrity of the building.
"We worked closely with the landlord and our interior designer to ensure we adhere to the regulations, and make concession to ensure we do not affect the uniqueness of the building. The design of the centre is closely knitted with our brand TRIBE by TEC - it is rustic and industrial, welcoming to likeminded individual connecting them through energy of colours and warmth," Lim shared.
