BBR's net profit down 24.3% to $1.08m in Q3

Blame it on lower construction revenue.

BBR Holdings' attributable profit fell to $1.08m in the third quarter, as higher property development revenue was offset by lower contributions from its key construction segment.

The group enjoyed higher gross profit on back of increased contribution from its Bliss@Kovan development project, which was at its active stage of construction during the quarter.

The Group also recorded foreign currency translation loss of $1.3 million for 3Q15 under other comprehensive income due to translation loss of its Malaysia subsidiary from the weakening of the Malaysian ringgit against the Singapore dollar over the period.
